MACROCELL

A macrocell or macrosite is a typical node of a radio access network that achieves coverage (network availability) in a wider area. It uses the principle of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) to communicate with users, and massive MIMO is emerging in 5G networks as a new communication technology.
