The development of 5G technology has opened a wide range of opportunities for the digital transformation of industrial processes and business models. Nevertheless, a fundamental question arises in practice: what is the optimal approach to implementing 5G networks within industrial verticals?
Željko Ilić graduated (1995) and received his M.Sc. (1999) and Ph.D. (2004) degrees from the Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb. Since 2018, he has been working as an associate professor at FER’s Department of Telecommunications.
Jasna Janković received M.Sc. in computing in 2018 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb. The same year she stays at the University, at the Department of telecommunications, as a research associate participating in teaching through laboratory exercises and in industry collaboration projects evolving around mobile networks, especially the applications of software-defined networking and network function virtualization.
Kristijan Poje graduated in information and communication technologies in 2020 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb. The same year he enrolled in a Ph.D. program and was employed at FER as a researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering Fundamentals and Measurements.
