Another successful quarter is behind us, in which we continued to achieve excellent business results and position ourselves as a market leader in new technologies. The most significant event of the third quarter, which will affect the entire telecom market of the Republic of Croatia, was the public auction for the frequency spectrum for the 5G network held in August. The allocation of 5G spectrum to operators in Croatia has opened a new chapter in the implementation of 5G technology that has the potential to transform our economy. —said Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, adding that compared to the first nine months of 2020, sales revenue increased by about six percent, with a notable increase in revenue in all market segments.

ENT is one of Croatia’s largest exporters, considering that more than 52 percent of its total results are exports. The company’s gross margin jumped to 11.5 percent year-over-year, which, they explain, is a result of a favorable business mix, lower transition and transformation costs, and the effect of operational and cost efficiency programs.

In the domestic market this year, immediately after the allocation of the radio frequency spectrum for 5G, the main telecom partners ENT, HT and A1 Croatia went full steam ahead with the implementation of the new technology across Croatia.
In the ICT segment, Ericsson Nikola Tesla has been working on a number of innovative strategic projects in the field of e-health, e-business, and public safety, in addition to signing new agreements with the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia, the State Geodetic Administration and the Ministry of the Interior. They also signed an ESIF (European Structural and Investment Funds) grant with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for Small Enterprises, Innovations and Investments for the implementation of the WaterQ project related to the digital transformation of water quality monitoring.

The Electric Power Company of the Croatian Community of Herzeg-Bosna(Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosne)in Mostar has chosen an ENT ICT solution that will enable predictive analytics for the purpose of improving environmental protection and sustainable business.

The implementation of the central software platform of the centralized eHealth system of Belarus, for which Ericsson Nikola Tesla signed an agreement in the fourth quarter of 2020, is in the second phase of the project, the company said.
