The Croatian company Infobip is the leading global provider of services in the mobile messaging space, according to the world-renowned company Juniper Research.
This new method provides an independent assessment of the market position of leading players. It includes a robust and transparent valuation methodology, including a thorough explanation of each company’s market position.
Therefore, the so-called “Competitor Ladder” has identified five leading platforms for mobile messaging: Infobip, Twilio, CM.com, Route Mobile, Kaleyra.
All the leading players scored highly in Juniper’s assessment of the sophistication of their messaging platforms. Support for established technologies, such as SMS and email, is now ubiquitous among providers of all kinds of messaging services.
The research also highlighted the companies’ ability to swiftly integrate new messaging channels into their platforms as key to distinguishing their services from competitors. In turn, leading providers will establish their market position by offering users the opportunity to use SMS as well as more comprehensive messaging formats, such as OTT channels and social media messaging.
“As messaging product portfolios become increasingly uniform across messaging vendors, support for new and emerging technologies will be instrumental in providing a differentiation point for leading players in a progressively more crowded space,” Juniper concludes.
