Samsung has officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on January 22, 2025, in San Jose, California.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to feature a design with more rounded corners, aligning it visually with the lower-tier models while retaining key features like the Galaxy S Pen. Additionally, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to support Qi2 wireless charging, utilizing magnetic cases rather than integrating magnets directly into the phones.

Pre-orders for the new Galaxy S25 series are expected to begin shortly after the event, with the devices becoming available for purchase starting February 7, 2025.

In a strategic collaboration with Google, Samsung is expected to offer a complimentary one-year subscription to Gemini Advanced, Google’s premium AI service, with the purchase of a Galaxy S25 device. This integration aims to enhance the user experience by providing access to advanced AI capabilities compatible with Samsung’s Galaxy AI.

Samsung is also offering $50 credits for customers who reserve a spot to preorder a Galaxy S25 phone.
