Launched in 2020, Telekom Slovenije strategically planned the 5G network to support private dedicated networks within a unified physical infrastructure.
Ino.Lab, a dedicated demonstration environment for testing private 5G networks, aims to allow interested companies and organizations to assess the benefits of private mobile 5G networks and actively engage in the open innovation process.
The facility demonstrates various use cases, including digitization of production, smart factory operations, advanced Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) machine control, and real estate and asset management. Telekom Slovenije highlights the adaptability, security, and high data transfer rates of private mobile networks, emphasizing their pivotal role in the digitalization of the economy.
The telco collaborated with partners like LASIM Laboratory, Iku, Avtenta, Metronik, and Spica to develop these use cases. Telekom Slovenije encourages new partnerships for further innovation.
