The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is working intensively towards laying the groundwork for full 5G deployment.

The company Qualcomm has officially confirmed the development of technology that will allow for significantly cheaper 5G mobile phones. Namely, the company has officially announced the development of the Snapdragon 480 5G, the latest processor with 5G support.

5G has become a hot topic even before serious commercial rollout, and these days it is im-possible to ignore. It is at the center of geopolitical pressures and controversies of major world powers, which indicates how important this new infrastructure is to global leaders.

Hrvatski Telekom has stepped up the expansion of the 5G network in Croatian towns and cities, so as of Friday, December 18, the commercial 5G network became available in Bjelovar, Jastrebarsko, and Koprivnica.
