The European Commission has sent warnings to Croatia, Estonia, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Lat-via, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Sweden for failing to fully adopt new European telecom regulation (the European Electronic Communications Code), into their national legislation.
In a market first, A1 Croatia is offering home internet via the 5G mobile network. With premium devices, the user will get quality broadband access. This is another contribution to the balanced development of Croatia and the provision of a level playing field for work, education, and even entertainment in areas without adequate fixed infrastructure, the telco reports.
“5G will have to be available to everyone, we broke the ice and must now introduce new networks across Croatia, not only for ‘fun’ or to be ‘fashionable’ but because it’s hard to imagine any industry investments without fast communication systems.”
The National Recovery and Resilience Plan is the opportunity of a generation because it brings the potential of HRK 47.5 billion which Croatia could pull from EU funds, under the conditions of a clever approach by the government and the launch of quality projects.
