The new round will auction about 8,000 county-based licenses in the 2.5 GHz spectrum band – mostly in rural parts of the United States of America.

Croatia raised almost HRK 359 million at the public auction for 5G frequencies, significantly exceeding the initial expectation of HRK 300 million in concession fees for the use of the spectrum for the new generation network.

Last week, the Croatian regulator HAKOM began conducting the auction procedure for the issue of RF spectrum licenses for the fifth generation (5G) of mobile communications networks.
