In just three months, from April to the end of June, 50.1 million smartphones were sold in Europe, so total sales increased by a whopping 14 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
The latest research by Strategy Analytics shows that global smartphone shipments surged to 340 million in the first three months of 2021, up by 24 percent year-over year and the highest growth since 2015.
According to analysts, the renewed US–Japan alliance to take on China’s dominance in 5G is an unrealistic illusion that is doomed to fail, given Chinese development of 5G infrastructure and their huge domestic application market.
Samsung has just unveiled its cheapest 5G phone to date – the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G. It will be available in Europe from February 12, and the starting price should be around HRK 2,000 for the 64 GB version, but for just HRK 200 more you can get 128 GB of storage space.
